Integrating systems such as putting DSLAM and cross connect chambers in a single enclosure reduce deployment cost and simplify transition to digital services.

It has the function of direct or indirect connection, coiling, storage, and dispatching on the fiber cable. Cabinets are made of double side wiredrawing stainless steel; with the protection grade reaching fiberglass-reinforced polyester can endure climate changes and adverse environment. All front access. Suitable for ribbon and no ribbon Fiber Optic Cables;30 oblique installation of adapters, preventing eyes from laser’s hurts and ensuring the fiber bending radius; Suitable for inserting installation of SC, FC, ST(additional flange) adapters; The bending radii are ensured to be more than 40mm in anyplace. Reliable fiber introduction, grounding and fixing, suitable fiber integrated and optical fibers.

1  Overview

1.1  Usage

It is designed and produced in accordance with the communication industry standard YD/T 988. It completes the inlet and fixation of optical cables, splicing, termination, storage and management of fibers, fixing and cross-connection of optical fibers. It is widely used in optical communication network. It is used between backbone cross connecting cabinet  and Distribution Box, it ensures the number of lead-in cable for backbone cross connecting cabinet, extend and distribute backbone cables.

1.2  Technical Specifications

1.2.1 Electronic Parameters

  • Connector attenuation (insertion, interchange, repeat): ≤ 0.3 dB
  • Return loss: APC ≥ 60 dB, UPC ≥ 50 dB, PC ≥ 40 dB
  • High-voltage protective grounding:

Insulation resistance: ≥ 1000 MΩ/500V (DC)

Dielectric strength: No breakdown and no flying arc at a voltage not less than 3,000 V (DC)/1min

  • Clear identification to avoid possible disorder arising from removal during maintenance

3  Installation

  • Precast Cement Base

Position the cabinet and precast solid concrete cement base according to Figure 2

  • Cabinet Installation

Position the cabinet onto the cement base by aligning the corresponding installation holes, and fix them with expansion bolts.
